Cousins - From Emily, Jason, & Wyatt Dodd

EJ and Evan John came over to our place on Friday for a dinner party. The party was really watching EJ & Wyatt.

EJ was such a sport - while I was getting dinner ready, he helped me out by feeding Wyatt some oatmeal with plums.
After dinner, EJ helped more by assisting us with bathtime and then holding Wyatt and showing him the book Goodnight Moon while I prepared his jammies.

What a great night.

Trip to Tyler

Yesterday, mom and I drove down to Tyler. We picked up grandma & grandpa on the way, and we all met up at Donna's where Lindsay, Berks, and Mattie-pie were waiting! Donna had a fantastic lunch prepared- some of the best things I've eaten in a long time! Homemade pizza and a delicious spinach salad. Dessert was to die for!

What a fun filled afternoon. Wish you guys could have been there.

Happy Birthday, Alex!! June 28th

The Cousins Meet...

Linds and I met at Mom's house on Saturday for a quick introduction of the cousins (2nd cousins, but why split hairs?). I think it went well. I don't really think they were aware of each other, per se. Wyatt isn't really aware that his hand is attached to his body most of the time; being aware of another being may be beyond him right now... But they did share a blanket and a nap. Too cute!
